Trump just signed an executive order that would implement the firing of certain civil servants that haven't taken a loyalty oath to him or have been deemed to not support him. Just one more step towards a dictatorship. What a fool he is to have done this so close to the election.

Yep, swear an oath of personal loyalty to the dear leader if you want to keep your job.

Loyalty oath? No.

Removing the resistance... yes.

Taylor spilled the beans twice now. They were trying to take out Trump. Why would we want people serving that operate in contrast to whom the people elected?

Maybe we want people that WE pay to serve US, take a loyalty oath to US?

LOL — DJT is “uprooting the traditions” of the civil service. Reminds me of a story a about Winston Churchill when he make sweeping changes to bring his government into the 20th century. He was at a gathering when an admiral of the Royal Navy accosted him and accused him of “destroying the traditions of the Royal Navy”. Churchill’s reply: “Sir, which traditions? I am only aware of rum, sodomy and the lash.”

There are numerous government workers who are actively working against the administration and they must be eliminated to combat against subversion.

I know this to be true because I’ve seen it first hand.

... a Loyalty Oath to Him

Public Servants take a loyalty oath to we the people, and our republic, through our constitution.

If Trump wants a loyalty oath to himself he can go to hell.

This executive order could possibly be interpreted as a violation of his own oath of office.

Why lie?

There is no loyalty oath to the President.

There effectively is. The order gives the POTUS much greater authority to fire a lot more civil servants he personally deems disloyal. That is THE reason for the order, to serve Trump's insane ego.

Think about that.

Trump is having a snit right now about Barr not being loyal enough for not arresting Biden ahead of the election.

Barr, the guy who has trashed the justice dept for political loyalty.

Trump is so vindictive about loyalty to him by those government employees who he appointed and who have not followed his orders, legal or not, to his own satisfaction, that he has and will throw them out of their jobs. That he has ordered the Attorney General to imprison his opponent in the presidential election, is an offense against all of us. And what a joke it is, that even a Trump sycophant like Barr, won't follow that order. That's why Trump put him in that job, to enforce his interests, when in fact, his job is to serve the interests of everyone in the country.
