My post is completely understandable. I'm not a grammar Nazi - Mouser's comment literally makes no sense. The misplaced comma completely changes the intent of the post. Also, you apparently don't know anything about grammar. Are you familiar with the concept of a typographical error?
Maybe some people will see it as a monument to Trump's madness, and some loud mouths will say almost anything, but no one is going to knock down any perfectly good thing we have already paid for. Especially something we paid too much for. We don't throw good money after bad.
Anyway, it's a fence.
The good walls that Trump has built have been very effective in deterring illegal entry in those areas and no, they aren't fences they are walls. 700 miles of fencing were built under previous administrations that weren't very effective. Trump is fixing that and building an additional 300 miles of good walls much to your chagrin.
Well, calling a "fence" a "wall" is pretty dumb to start with. Why in the heck Trumpster's insist in calling this thing a "wall" is mystifying.
And why the left is complaining about a fence is equally mystifying.
What Trump is building are walls not fences. Fences are what were there previously. Trumpster's? How many juveniles are in this forum? I'm losing count.
Who says? It's the Border Patrol that wanted a see thru wall so they could see whom or what was approaching from the other side. That doesn't make it less of a wall. Walls are also tall structures while fences are not.
I expect he'll be busy with other matters. This is just a tempest in a teapot. Tearing down the wall would be a waste of money, energize the Republican base, and provide no political benefit to the Democrats. Biden has already signaled that he doesn't intend to remove the existing wall; he just won't add to it.
Long term, illegal immigration is a win for Democrats.
