The US Economy is bouncing back much more quickly than the so-called "experts" previously predicted,
Have you noticed that, when Obama was President, the economic reports were almost always too high, and the government quietly adjusted them downward after a few weeks?
Now, when Trump is President, the "experts'" predictions are almost always too low, spreading gloom until the actual numbers come out later?
GDP had a record drop so the record growth doesn't even get us back to where we were. The growth was due to stimulus and states re-opening. It had nothing to do with Trump. If Trump states he can't control the states and it's up to them to make decisions regarding Covid then he sure as hell can't take credit for when they decide to re-open.
Partial recovery following an all-time record drop. Congress' $3 trillion contribution probably helped a tad. I suspect it'll be a few years before we fully recover back to where we were at.
you should read the articles/official release.
The direct stimulus checks were $290B. and received and disposed (when they were) in Q2
Oh please. People especially democrats expected and were hoping for less, much less. We will settle comfortably into 3-4% GDP under Trump.
The Democrats were hoping for 20% unemployment as a result of covid, too...but they are constantly disappointed.
