Once lead is over 1k, recount is unlikely to change the outcome.

Mariner, are you familiar with Clayton County? Biden has been getting 85% of these votes from there, it is a suburb of Atlanta. Don't know the demographics there but it has propelled him into the lead.

I'm familiar with Clayton County. Majority-Black county just south of Atlanta. I used to live in the Atlanta area.

Who is saying that? AP has been consistently high with their vote % reporting, IMO.

Another metro Atlanta county few have paid attention to is Douglas County. It used to go red until its Black population inched toward 40%. It was 77% White and 18% Black in 2000. In 2010, Douglas County was 50% White and 40% Black.

Douglas County voted Republican in 2004 to the tune of 61%. 2008, Douglas County supported Obama at a tune of 50%, 51% in 2012, and then 54% voted for Clinton in 2016.

Wow, it's amazing what is happening in Georgia, and I (and other pundits I've heard) believe what happened to Stacy Abrams has propelled this record turnout.

Love it.

They are saying a recount is likely in this race. It is offered if the margin of victory is 1/2 of a percentage point or less and the opponent request it. PA has the same rule. You can bet your arze that Trump is going too request a recount. It may be another week before we have and official winner.
