The funniest thing about this comment is that the red states are mostly poor and uneducated. They need the money from prosperous blue states to survive. If they split off, they would literally starve. LOL

Won't be a bad idea, but someone will start a new party. All the power belonging to one party is never good. But at least my vote will count slightly more with fewer registered voters.

The last time I checked, governments were instituted among men to secure inherent / endowed / inalienable rights. That's best achieved by a united people opposing the predators. Predators would rather 'divide and conquer' and gobble up the fractured remains.
Of course, in a socialist divided nation, where the "Takers" are in conflict with the "Taken," democracy's true villainous nature is exposed : where 51% can legally persecute the 49%.
Instead of dissolution of the Union, I'd rather that we abolish socialism, its taxes and bureaucracy.
Too late to vote no? I'm conservative and disappointed in the election results, but was never a fan of Donald Trump. I liked some of the tax cuts, deregulation, and culture war that he started late in his admin. But I don't hate Democrats. We'll get through this just fine. The system was set up to balance powers to the point to where neither side can do anything too crazy.

Yes, it's time. Our collective lives will be much more peaceful if we divide America into to separate countries. I'm all for this and have been for years.
Go a head and ask 1000 people in any country in the world. Would you rather live in New York or California or any of the red states?
How many do you think will say red states? Texas may be the only attractive red state in America and even that is turning purple.
Blue States are the shining light on a hill. You are typing on a computer now because of our ingenuity.
You have freedom because our great soldiers went/go to war for you to protect that freedom.
