They apparently drank champagne and had quite the dinner too. Wonder who paid for that?

That's a really bad look for them. Especially the one that is likely to run for governor the next time. Those photos will be great fodder for an opponent.

Yep, bad optics, even though the ultimate message was correct.

Might well come back to bite them, as alluded to by Christine.

I would think they could stay at any hotel that they wanted to stay at. And, I didn't see any video of anything other than some reporter, who doesn't social distance. So, they had a nice dinner? Well, let's lock them up and throw away the key!

Seriously, the paranoia by the left is just strange. The left keeps saying that Biden has won, so why are they acting like a bunch of "long-tailed cats in a room full of rocking chairs"?

"Trying to make something out of nothing."

1. To raise a fuss about something minor, trivial, or unimportant; to exaggerate or put too much focus on a minor issue and make it seem like a major one. (Often uses the actual word "something.")

Did anyone see the sharks attack these lawmakers at the airport? I would want to stay at a hotel with good security!

They're not even trying to hide it. DC is like a small town and reporters are always watching who goes in and out of trump's hotel. Will the state hold them accountable? I'll make calls on Monday- I hope they're investigating.

Sharks? You mean citizens who were worried about the will of the voters of Michigan being illegally overturned?

I'll ask again - if your state voted for trump and your legislators ignored that, put in Biden electors, and gave your state's votes to Biden, would you be OK with that? If so, you're not much of a patriot.
