But it's just "an idea" doing the rioting and burning, according to the idiot likely to be in the Oval Office in 2 months.

At least Kate Brown is finally seeing their true motive and intentions. I mean we all saw the truth back in June-July, but at least she is admitting they have no goal, but destruction and violence. Maybe now the DA will bring down harsher punishment and not let these people out of jail so easily, with no consequences.

Hardly surprising that she kept the lie going until after the election, while everyone else saw what was going on. Now that the mobs of savages don't serve a political purpose, even Brown might be willing to let them be shut down.

There are a lot of economically poor white and disenfranchised people in Oregon. The KKK had a chapter in Dallas in ~1930s. And there were anti Chinese land ownership laws, anti interracial marriages, and Negro free counties. Remember Oregon itself was founded on people who were disadvantaged elsewhere and took the Oregon Trail to the Promised Land. Economic realities changed to make ignoring the laws a reality. Discrimination laws were quietly rescinded only fairly recently, ~30 years ago; I forget.
