Why weren't we united 2 weeks ago?

What changed? We don't have a new president. Nothing has changed. Where is the unity coming from? Have Democrats embraced the "racist, homophobic, bigot deplorables" and like them now???

What war would Biden have been eligible for? He turned 26 in 1968, which was the height of Vietnam, and the draft eligibility ended at age 26

Joe Biden isn’t president of the United States yet, but he has been busier developing policy over the past few days than Donald Trump has been in four years.

Over the next 24 hours, in particular, Biden will move forward on his own health care agenda in an address to the nation dedicated to how he plans to protect and expand upon the Affordable Care Act.

According to Bloomberg‘s Jennifer Epstein, Biden – after having already named a COVID-19 task force on Monday – will be laying out his health care blueprint on Tuesday.

It’s important to note that after four years in the White House, Trump has yet to reveal his plan for health care.

Why does Biden need a task force? According to him, he has ALL the answers on how to completely eliminate the virus.

Biden received five draft deferments.

So, my old man got 4 draft deferments while in college from 1969 to 1973, and if Vietnam draft hadn't ended after 1972, he would have left the country as a conscientious objector. He had no interest in most likely dying in combat But my dad didn't support war in general, so he wasn't a chicken hawk like say Ted Nugent....

Trump's going to get a vaccine into the hands of people who need it 6-12 months sooner than the rest of the world would have with their insistence that masks and distancing is all we need. This will save untold lives if we intelligently distribute this vaccine to the oldest members of society first.

As you can see from this article, the very vaccine that they are producing right now is the one back in July Trump gave emergency funding for.

Given how few people have gotten the virus so far and how it's really only now starting to spread in larger numbers, I think this is a pretty amazing feat and it comes right when we need it the most. 12 months from now and there would be millions more dead worldwide. Of course these doses are going to the United States with this funding at a cost of $19.50 per dose.
