Trump on Friday received an update in the Oval Office on "Operation Warp Speed," the federal government's vaccine program -- his first publicly announced event related to the pandemic all week. After the meeting concluded, the White House announced Trump would deliver "an update on Operation Warp Speed" in the White House Rose Garden at 4 p.m.
It comes as the virus is raging, with the country breaking records of new cases and hospitalizations.
The president has not attended a meeting of coronavirus task force in months.

And it was great to see him fulfill his presidential duties on Veterans Day, and hopefully today he'll be able to further our efforts to survive covid.

He's got 68 days to go on his contract. If he doesn't want to do the job let him get the hell out of the White House and deny him use of Air Force One. NO work? NO perks!
My prediction concerning today's Rose Garden press conference: President Trump will claim that he is being crucified by the Liberal Socialist Media for inventing a COVID 19 vaccine that will save all of humanity.
Now, Trump being Trump, he will also talk about how the election was rigged. How the courts are rigged. How he is the victim.
He will not, however, concede the election. Fine, whatever.
Finally, he will use the Rose Garden as the backdrop for urging supporters to donate to the Trump campaign to continue the fight against the rigged election, neglecting to mention that for donations under $8,000, 60 percent will go to retire the campaign debt (what happen to the billion dollars they had?) the remainder to pay the law firms that are bailing out on him.
