Abuse of power is abuse of power isn't it regardless of where it comes from? The difference is government leaders aren't making out with a bigger bonus by kicking you to the curb when it comes time to downsize and "cut heads"

I'm not ok with either. I warned conservatives for years corporations are not their friends. Now that the largest FANG companies and social media companies seem to be run by liberals you see the tables turning and the left embracing "private companies" ... it's funny how political parties can swap positions over a few decades like that. It used to be the right that censored and the left that wanted free speech no matter what. Everything goes in cycles.

Most mainstream conservatives are complete bootlickers/cucks for big companies and Israel.

Bootlickers? To big companies? How is that possible? Big businesses have no authority over anyone's life. The government, on the other hand, exists largely in part to keep you and everyone else in line. Don't play by their rules, and you may find yourself in a gulag, in many countries. And lefties want to expand that bossy, authoritative figure to a point where we will all feel them breathing down our necks constantly, just waiting for us to break one of their many unnecessary, freedom infringing rules.

Big companies are all run by Democrats now
Progressives need to acknowledge that fact

Bc they're stupid and don't actually understand how things work. Simple as that.

I support smaller government and the return to the period of limited corporate charters. But that would greatly limit campaign donations for decades-long politicians that seem to get re-elected by the ignorant percentage of the population, sans voter fraud.

Big business generates the jobs, tax base, and cheap, plentiful goods that makes a successful republic with a thriving middle class possible.

Big government destroys that affluence though taxation used to fund waste fraud and abuse, and far from liberating people, constantly finds now rules with which to oppress them.

I get that no one teaches this in schools any longer, but I would have thought that the Covid era would have given you a clue.

Do you know what a lobbyist is and what he actually does in DC? They often write the bills
our congress reads (maybe) and votes on them.

I think an even better question is "why are you okay with the Church ruling over your lives but not the Government ruling over your lives?"

Re: banning abortion, banning gay marriage, prayer in schools, not teaching evolution, and every other piece of moronic drivel that the religious right can come up with.
