Nowhere do they say that these people living in nursing homes or homeless shelters are illegal voters. They are Americans. And if they are over the age of 18 and (in some states) have not committed a felony, they have the right to vote. And apparently it is wrong for Americans to vote.
Let me say that again - according to the OP and others of that ilk:

You know, I was disappointed when Trump won in 2016. But, Americans voted for the guy. He got the right votes in the right places (PA, MI and WI). I didn't question if those voters were American or not. But these people the OP claims are voting are Americans and would not be able to vote if they were not American. Yet, Republicans want to deny Americans the right to vote.
Did you know that we have amendments that protect Americans' right to vote?

From my perspective, the Georgia runoff election will determine the fate of all freedom loving Americans, without reference to their political party affiliation. If radical socialist revolutionaries, e.g., Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Mazie Hirono, Adam Schiff, Jerrold Nadler, etc., gain control over the presidency, and both houses of Congress, they have already promised to fundamentally transform the United States of America!
For example, Chuck Schumer boasted about ending the filibuster and adding additional new members to the United States Supreme Court, thereby creating a majority on the court loyal to him.

The amount of effort Dems are putting into cheating to get these two seats only for Sinema and Manchin to derail their socialist agenda anyway is sort of funny. They’ll lose the Purdue seat anyway so it doesn’t really matter but they clearly don’t realize even at 50/50 they’ll only pass moderate legislation
And then there is the very real possibility that one or two sensible Democrat Senators, who realize the very real threat to America's system of government should their radical Leadership follow through with ending the filibuster, packing the S.C., and adding two new states with four new Democrat Senators, which would create a very dangerous one party rule, ruled by radical revolutionaries equivalent to those who turned both Cuba and Venezuela into socialist wastelands, will switch their party affiliation to Republican.

The unavoidable truth is, our socialist revolutionaries, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, have a plan for “free” college tuition, and cancelling student loan debt. The problem is, it will be paid for by taxing millions of college graduates who worked for and paid their own way through college and are now trying to finance their own economic needs.

Mail-in ballots have already been sent out in Georgia. What measures are being taken to prevent ballot harvesting ___ when a Stacey Abrams activist shows up at a nursing home, homeless shelter, food bank, and poorer neighborhoods and "helps" those with ballots to fill them out, sometimes even offering a gift certificate for the privilege of helping others, who then deposits these ballots in the newly created "ballot drop boxes" ?
If this ballot harvesting is not stopped, and those engaging in the activity prosecuted and sent to jail, you can bet the two socialist revolutionaries will win Georgia's runoff election for the two Senate seats.

Below is a sampling of cases in which ACORN or its employees were convicted of crimes related to voter registration.
Between 2009 and 2011, a former field director, a former regional director, and ACORN itself were convicted of conspiracy to commit the crime of compensation for registration of voters in Nevada. It was illegal for registration canvassers to receive compensation based on the number of voters registered. Charges stated that ACORN paid a $5 bonus to canvassers who turned in 21 registration forms.[8][9][10]
In 2009, Latoya Lewis pleaded guilty to repeatedly registering individuals when she worked for ACORN in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.[11]
In 2008, eight former ACORN employees pleaded guilty to registration fraud during a registration drive in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2006.[12]
In 2007, five people in Washington pleaded guilty to registration fraud charges related to work they did as ACORN employees and were sentenced to jail time.[13] ACORN agreed to pay King County $25,000 for investigative costs. The group also signed an agreement to "beef up its training and procedures for detecting and reporting fraud," according to The Seattle Times.[14][15]
In 2007, three former ACORN workers in Kansas City, Missouri, pleaded guilty to charges of voter registration fraud.[16] Claudia Harris, chairperson of Kansas City ACORN, said in a statement released after the former employees were indicted, "When we caught this misconduct, we reporter [sic] it to the authorities. Now we want to see these folks prosecuted to the full extent of the law, because they have defrauded our organization, and, worse, detracted from our mission of ensuring that citizens in our community participate in the democratic process."[17]
In Colorado in January 2005, two people were sentenced to community service for submitting false voter registrations while working for ACORN.[18] ACORN's regional director said after the two were charged, "We find it abhorrent and do everything we can to prevent it from happening."[19]
