When the media started endorsing the BLM protests and claiming that thousands of strangers screaming shoulder to shoulder don't spread Covid while a small gathering of family and friends do, they lost all credibility. Solution is very simple: just hang up one BLM sign for each person non household member that comes over for Thanksgiving dinner. That will keep Covid away. For extra protection, hang up 2 or 3 signs for each guest.

Covid has been politicized six ways to Sunday, so you can't blame people for being skeptical of officials and especially the media. From Trump being called "racist" for restricting travel from certain areas to Democrats encouraging citizens to ride the subways and hug people; from telling people they can't walk on the beach or attend weddings to telling the public that "protests" and riots are safe, the messaging has all the earmarks of political opportunism and virtue-signaling.
It means a lot more hospitalizations and death come January....do you expect him to be thrilled about that?

My Die-Hard Democrat family members do all they can online posting how bad the Orange Man is, how we need to lockdown, how everyone should be forced to wear masks, yet they all constantly socialize together with family and friends from multiple states, without masks and will be gathering for a HUGE Thanksgiving celebration. Meanwhile, I have stayed isolated from everyone since March and will continue to do so until 2 months after I get the vaccine. Yet I am told I am the cause of the spread because I voted Republican this year and my family members are all the answer because they all voted Democrat.

At my local hospital on some days it has to send a new covid patient to another hospital from its covid unit being overwhelmed. In turn, some days it may have space to spare and accepts patients from out of town hospitals overwhelmed.
Yep. Hospitals get full sometimes, and it is not only because of this one virus. The fact is that the system is prepared now and there are no population centers that are being "overwhelmed" by the service requirements associated with this.
