In 2016 I like the front runners Cruz and Rubio but they flat out did not have what it took to beat Hillary. The man for that job was Trump. I do like Cruz, he seems to have gotten tougher, no nonsense now that he has grown that beard and I would like to see him on the 2024 ticket with Candace Owens as VP.
It's a shame that the Left can't pick better candidates. Biden is losing his mind and Harris was picked for her skin tone and gender.
Trump had his faults but at least he loved America and inspired Patriotism. Biden/Harris.. Lord help us.

Big money and over rated social media corporations set the narrative that China Biden was going to be their choice not the people. However, in order for that to work the people must be brain washed first. Trump loved America? Inspired patriotism? Trump loved himself and didn't give a crap about patriotism, only what benefited him and his cronies.
We will never see eye to eye on public policy, but the least you can do as fellow countrymen, choose someone with empathy and of good moral character. Please from the bottom of my heart, stop choosing buffoons to lead the ticket of your party. There are plenty of decent Republicans to choose from. What about Jeb Bush? I don't agree with him on policy, but he's a good man who puts his country first. Donald Trump is a flawed human being. The reasons are too long to list. He should not have even went beyond the Iowa Caucus.
Ok, name what other (R) presidents have been buffoons, or are you only implying that Trump is one?
As an aside, if the Democrats had not had a divisive socialist in Obama (trying to "fundamentally transform America") for 8 years, and then run corrupt candidate in Hillary, Trump likely would not have won the (R) nomination.
Get a grip! Hillary and Biden are horrible people who lack empathy and make millions selling access to government favors.
Trump is far less corrupt than either of them. He is far more honest. And, of course, his policies are designed to make our country better, while those of people like Hillary or Biden are designed to make it worse.
Democrat policies have always been better for America...Your Republican policies always lead to messes that we Dems fix up...Reagan/Bush lead to recession that Clinton fixed...GWB lead to major recession that Obama fixed...and now thanks to his terrible lack of leadership in 2020, Trump has a major recession and an out of control Pandemic that Biden will have to fix.
Well, 'friend,' you picked Joe Biden, a mentally declining near octogenarian who has done virtually nothing during his 47 years in government, is thought by many to be a bit of a perv, was involved in pay to play with his drug addicted son, was branded a racist by his own vice presidential pick, demonstrated plenty of racial animus of his own, made wildly inappropriate remarks about black men, dropped out of his first presidential race due to allegations of plagiarism and on and on it goes. And he is now installing more tired old white men in cabinet positions, to take us back to policies that put everyone except everyday Americans first.
So, thanks for the advice, but I'd take Trump any day over this clown.
