If you've been paying attention, almost all of Bidens appointments are female or black and its obvious he's doing this on purpose to appease his base and the liberal extremists. Does anyone see a problem with this? He's disqualifying white men based on sex and race which is wrong. He is passing over more qualified people. Its his white shame from being a liberal white male elected president.
Before you respond by comparing to Trump, I also didn't agree with Trump hiring people who were unqualified just because they were yes men who stroked his ego. But trump fired mostly white men who were highly qualified also. THen he replaced them with morons.
Biden said his VP pick would be a woman. He never mentioned race.
It was a strategy all along.
"In late April, more than 200 black women who are leaders and activists within the Democratic party signed an open letter to the presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden calling on him to select a black woman as his running mate.
"It is a fact that the road to the White House is powered by Black women and Black women are the key to a Democratic victory in 2020," they wrote.
In early May, about a dozen of the women who had signed that letter made their case directly to Biden and some of his senior staff in a conference call. Their pitch was about timing and history, but it was also about strategy. They believed a black woman would help Biden win the White House.
Cornell Belcher, a Democratic pollster who worked on Barack Obama's presidential campaigns, questions how anyone could think it's sound strategy for Democrats to have an all-white ticket this November.
"You should have to explain to me how in the hell it makes sense for you not to have a diverse ticket, given the success of our diverse ticket," said Belcher, referring to the fact that Obama won over 51% of the national popular vote in both of his victories, making him the first president in decades to do so. "History should tell — you should have a reservation about an all-white ticket because we have a lot harder time winning majorities with an all white ticket than we do with a diverse one."
So he chose a woman whose ranking was in single digits with voters in the Democratic campaign. The choice was made for winning the election, not for qualifications. It is debatable how much she actually influenced the outcome.
For example, not long ago my own department at work had an opening. The department was 6 people - all guys, though it's a job/career type which usually has plenty of women, too. But not my department, for whatever reason. The opening also was one in which we could find several qualified people for. So we chose a woman for the job, in large part to add variety. If you can, there's nothing wrong with adding variety to your staff because a variety of people are more likely to have a variety of opinions and a variety of skills which will round out the skills, experiences and viewpoints of your team.
If you have a team who are all the same kind of person, odds are you're going to get a narrower range of opinions, experiences, etc. When you have that, you may be missing viewpoints and experiences which could have led to better decisions and results. If you start adding variety to your staff, you are more likely to get people who will think of things your homogenous staff may not have thought of.
Variety adds spice to life.

I actually believe Harris' gender and non-white ethno was a major factor in her being chosen. At least he could show some gratitude to a significant voting block of his base that greatly helped him get elected. All politicians do that in one form or another.
Btw, the media always remember to say she is black and South Asian. It seems that her being part black is the focus here, not really her being a woman of color.( The Asian half is being ignored, as always.)

Even if Joe Biden's cabinet was all White or mostly White it's not going to make me start supporting Joe Biden because his White picks would still have a political ideology that is the complete opposite of mines. I could care less about the racial demographic of Joe Biden's administration!

Another one lying. Harris’ complexion had nothing to do with her selection. All Biden said was that he would choose a woman. You are the one obsessing over her color.
So to base a selection solely on GENDER is OK? Your entire Leftist platform is based on LIES.

Harris said "she believed the accusations against him from other women"
no person (from either sex) would select a person who said that against them, unless they were directed to, or they chose them to make those statements go away
