Ya, you can be proud of your country without thinking it’s perfect. We’re not exceptional, we’re just a country among other free countries that has issues.

It could be anyone.
Take a country that's going through tough times and uncertainty, put a man that speaks to the disgruntled, and then single out a group and tell them "these people are the reason for all your problems". Get them to point fingers at others, as well as other countries. Use their pride against them.
That's really all fascism is. Using people's pride as a tool to gain power.
When fascism CAME to America it really was wrapped in a flag and carrying a bible. We booted it out, thank God.
