Oh, is that like when the violent thugs in the schools harass and intimidate any of their classmates who are actually trying to learn something? And the school administration refuses to do anything about it? Is that what they mean by "systemic, institutionalized, anti-black, state-sanctioned violence"?

I consider myself socially liberal, but these people take things to a strange level.
I live in the metro Seattle area and I only drink bottled water... In plastic bottles and prefer plastic shopping bags too!!
I don't buy any of the unchecked progressive craziness that's been coming out of Seattle since it HAS destroyed the entire city. The sad thing is that after all the progressive liberal that screwed up the city, they are now fleeing and wherever they end up at, I can guarantee that they will screw up their next home... Just like all the Californians that fled to Nevada, Arizona and now Texas.
Heck, even all the cops are fleeing the city, at record numbers, as violent crimes are skyrocketing. And the answer from the King County Justice System is to release all the criminals from jail.

Seattle is only 7.3% Black, half as much as Asian at 15.4%, and yet they make this big fuss over racism in the schools, and have all of these BLM riots.
There is no bottom to this insanity. It's only going to get worse.

Seattle Public Schools held a teacher-training session where it asserted that the U.S. education system is responsible for committing "spirit murder" against black students.
The school district's critical race theory training, according to documents released Friday by City Journal contributing editor Christopher Rufo, instructed white teachers to recognize their "considerable power and privilege." A slide on "building community" listed bullet points for teachers to discuss, including "spirit murder"—a term defined as the murder of "the souls of black children every day through systemic, institutionalized, anti-black, state-sanctioned violence."
Other slides instructed white teachers to "bankrupt [their] privilege," acknowledge their "thieved inheritance," and "commit to the journey" of anti-whiteness even if their "lizard brain" makes them fearful of having a conversation about racism—"or any other kind of ‘-ism.'"
The left refuses to believe what Rufo publishes. He's had the photos of material used and sometimes video. Doesn't matter. People who think this spirit murder, shed whiteness, critical race theory, etc. stuff is good, ok, say so. But to deny that type of curricula and training isn't real is denial of reality.
