Guards, staff, and prisoners should ALL get vaccinated in the tier right after healthcare workers. Prisoners are involuntarily confined. We took away their right to protect themselves from the virus, so as a society, we are morally obligated to immunize them before the general population.

If they didnt break the law then they wouldnt be in there. They willingly gave up their rights to live a normal life.

Give it to the staff as soon as they can, and the prisoners later after everyone else and there's an extra supply. No way they should go ahead of anybody.

True, they are already quarantined. So by that fact, let them remain practicing social isolation .

They can wait and bid their time. It's not like they are paying taxes, contributing to society .

The guards and staff can be innoculated.

Just keep testing the prisoners and remove risk of transmission.

Prisoners shouldn't be vaccinated at all. The staff should be amongst the first to get it though.

All of us are under house arrest thanks to the strict covid shutdowns, so in that sense, we ALL are prisoners. The guards (mayors and governors and Fauci) order us when we can go out, where we can or cant go, etc.) so we are prisoners in the very sense of the word.
