The Covid bill was tacked into the Omnibus budget bill with all the foreign aide.

This is the trick used by the Republican/Democrat swamp creatures to reward their big donors, while screwing the American Tax Payers, including those now suffering from the pandemic. A $600 "significant" crumb is exactly what the good people of Georgia need in a $ 2.3 trillion Covid Relief Bill, the majority of money going to foreign governments and unrelated domestic money laundering operations, innocuously referred to as “pork”, .

Congress considered ice cream for every America, but Pelosi vetoed it as it was too expensive to give every American a $13 quart of the brand she eats. There was also talk of giving the option of vanilla cake, but that was shot down as being racist.
They are essentially stealing about $3,000 from each American, and letting us keep $600.
Why not just cancel the 2020 income tax and give us all back our income tax withholding from 2020? They obviously don't care about tax receipts anyway, that much is clear.

It wasn't a trick, it was because everyone knew covid finding was the priority rather than the omnibus itself. Had they not combined the two there wouldn't be a will to pass the omnibus and we would have seen a government shutdown. Now because of Trump thinking you can run the nation like one of his many failed companies and change the terms of the deal right before you sign the contract. Government doesn't work like that for better and worse, period.

They are neither “liberal”, “progressive” nor are they Republican or Democrat Leaders. They are notoriously evil Socialist Revolutionaries and Globalists who intend to use government force to steal and then enjoy the property which labor, business and investors have worked to create.

That is the scare tactic. WH already put in something (EO or something) to prevent that happen couple days ago. I am not Trump supporter, but this time he was right to call it out. I believe people would be fine if the check was 1200 and it came on Sept or so. Both parties played stupid "one for you and one for me" game, and forgot to left enough for the poor.

I would say both if McConnell had a deal that Republicans in the Senate actually wanted. People forget until McConnell had the "Oh woe is me, the Democrats didn't vote for the bill", the Republicans were torn between passing a bill, passing a bill with business protection from lawsuits and no bill at all. The Democrats had no counter-offer to alter the Heroes' Act with. Anyone with a brain and isn't biased know that. I'm not saying you aren't but many are quick to blame Pelosi and the Dems when the Republicans were far worse.
