I think she’s the only Speaker of the House in our nation’s history who can’t actually speak.

It’s very difficult getting through one of her speeches as she stammers and slurs and rambles on about everything but the subject at hand.

She does her job, but she is also a soul-less sociopath, and a pathological liar with no core beliefs.

No one cares for Pelosi, she is just another branch of the creatures that make the rules. That being said how can any Trump supporter defend that this man is now pardoning his partners in his criminal empire?
How can anyone think it's ok that he pardon some of the sleeziest people in the country?

How do you defend how he is abusing his pardon power?

No answer and immediate deflection to Trump. You must be a Liberal

No one on here has said they like her and after her horrible year of walking in Chinatown, the impeachment debacle, her hair blowout, not passing the stimulus to make Trump look bad she’s going back to her mansion on the hill in her destroyed city eating her ice cream. I’m def leaning towards Antichrist

Actually, I believe Newt Gingrich is Satan incarnate because he is the one who
encouraged the political factions to completely stop communicating and
reaching across the isle to come to an agreement on anything.

Then the Tea Party happened, and was hijacked by religious zealotry that
demanded the church they belonged to have all say and all sway while
giving a gigantic middle finger to anyone who did not comply with it lock step.

Meanwhile, corporations infiltrated government by morphing lobbying into
what is now out and out legalized bribery via Citizens United. When Mitt
Romney stated that "Corporations are people too", churches were using
the president to demonize gay people who wanted the legal right to marry.
All the while, his VP Chaney was pushing his war machine conglomerate
interests while we punished gay American taxpayers and jailed marijuana sellers.

Take corporate, Wall street and religion out of politics, issue term limits and watch
things improve in our government, I would think...

The congress and senate has turned into an old age home for the elite
insider traders who hold office, and a haven for sociopaths who have
no scruples for their masses who vote.

As long as we have Republicans and Democrats holding office, there must
be some compromise occurring. One side cannot hold the nation hostage
for their own special interests, either party. Cooperation is a necessary
evil. There must be give and take for bills to actually pass and movement
to take place instead of stonewalling for nothing.

The constitution, like the bible can be interpreted in a myriad of ways.

Very few in the other party ever like the Speaker of the House.

Naturally so; the House is where all the political emotions lie, and where everything begins. It's supposed to represent the feelings of the moment, and it does. Very well.

The Speaker is always highly partisan. Part of their job is to win just as much as they possibly can for their party. That includes winning disagreements on the House floor, elections, bills that are submitted, and legislation from the other party that is successfully blocked.
It's a job that makes most of them despised by the other side and quite often, by their own people too.

But opposition is what makes the wheels of democracy turn. When the opposition stops is when the Dictator has taken over and has stopped it.
So don't look at your personal dislike of the Speaker as being a bad thing, or a good thing. It's a sign our democracy is still healthy and still messy, just as it's supposed to be.

Once they are out of the office, they most often turn out to be pretty nice people. There have been a few past Speakers who have been real jerks, but not very many.

Let's retitle the thread as: Is Nancy Pelosi is a real person or if she's the wicked witch of the west?

Am I the only one who still have fun to see these old clips featuring Pelosi?

Don't worry bud. She's not the antichrist. Not nearly smart enough. She's just a nasty old hag. Maybe the botox has gone from her face to her brain.
