Most of you could not last 4 to 5 days without power a 50% to 60% lock for 8 to 10 weeks in nothing compared to having no power for 3 weeks.

Just because most people would prefer to have power doesn't mean they couldn't go without it, if they had to. Did you happen to get a free t-shirt announcing to the world that you survived 3 weeks without power? Your parents must be so proud, or something....

You're speaking for the vast majority, 300+million?

There should be no lockdowns whatsoever. They don’t work and they cause unknowable and extensive damage to the country.

Masks and social distancing, sure why not? But lockdowns, no!

Do you realize that just 100 years ago, half our country was "without power"? Like, always. Not just 3 weeks.

Also nearly half the houses in the US didn't have indoor plumbing 100 years ago.

Perspective is everything. What a bunch of wimps we've become.

No more or less than the poster who called all Americans wimps because a few throw a fit when asked to put on a mask.

The city of Anaheim CA is on a verge of bankruptcy, their main revenue to keep their city alive is closed, Disneyland and all the hotels and tourists who love Disneyland.....and again this is 2020, not 1920.

And yet I hear that other Disneylands in the world are open, but I have NOT checked that lately....

I'm telling you what, Andy, I'm reading nonfiction books from the last century and a half, and I am absolutely shocked and admiring of the difficulties people endured before the last, say, 70 years. Holy cow.

So yes, I'm feeling like we're a bunch of marshmallows compared to our ancestors.

And I don't know who is the worst marshmallow. Those who insist on separation and masks during COVID, or those who freak out at putting on a mask and staying home one Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
