Twitter has banned several top Trump allies, including former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and one-time Trump election lawyer Sidney Powell, in what the site described as a crackdown on QAnon content two days after QAnon believers joined other Trump supporters in violently storming Congress.

Facebook and Twitter were going to do all that anyway.

But the internet is now the wild Wild West of communication. You simply can’t stop a movement that is now 75 million strong.

Q congresswoman MTG was crying that Twitter took away her followers. Hilarious.

Those websites are like "living" in a communist country. Luckily I've never used either and have never become addicted. The web in general (including the "dark web") is at this point, largely not authoritarian. I'm sure that will change. After all, how many printing presses did the catholic church destroy trying to stifle freedom of thought and belief?

I suppose it will, at some point, be back to pirate HAM radio for free dialogue.

Trump and his allies could post a video of them skinning puppies alive and you’d still be upset with them being banned.

Trump has been violating Twitter's TOS for a long time now. He just had protections as the president. If he followed the same terms everyone else was held to, he's still have his account.

He got it back. Just took awhile before he used it and he’s been pretty tame.

He'll lose it permanently later this month. I think we'll see him subdued from now on though. He's been bluffing at a poker game for the last few months, hoping to strike a deal to get himself out of legal charges after he's out of office. We all know now that he IS bluffing, and he holds no cards. Now he has to play as nice as possible to try and minimize the damage to himself after the 20th.
