Since Trump is by all accounts, leaving willingly and peacefully, the question now is, if he ever TRULY believed there was election fraud? ( I dont think he ever did believe this).

He REPEATEDLY PROMISED to NEVER give up, to NEVER allow fraud to succeed...and yet Bidens inauguration day is here and Trump has already caved? (someone please explain this!)

When a person makes PROMISES, but then breaks them the first chance they get...their word becomes worthless.

He's facing being charged with a federal felony - it seems likely someone he trusts has gotten through to him and convinced him to stand down from this ridiculousness.

It doesn't seem fair to say he broke his promise to fight "the first chance he got". He's done nothing but attempt to overthrow a fair and just election since Nov. 3. You really can't fault him and say he didn't try like hell, with all the ammo he could think of, the last attempt being inciting a murder of the sitting VP.

But. Your post very clearly illuminates what's about to happen to Trump - his faithful will turn on him, and make him the enemy, and say he betrayed all of you.

Teddy Roosevelt is nodding from the grave. He coulda predicted it, since he lived it.

Of course he did not believe it. Why would he have talked about it months in advance? The story was sowed into the soil of the GOP through this whole election cycle. It absolutely backfired resulting in the Democrats controlling all of congress and the presidency.

His plan is working. Plan was to con his gullible followers from white house as long as he can and then move them to some other platform and keep doing it. Already talk of creating new media and a party

He's facing very serious charges when he leaves office. My opinion, he was playing up the 'election fraud' angle to try and gain leverage to make a deal to get himself immunity from prosecution post-presidency. The fact that he found a way to con $200 million out of people off of the election fraud lie was just icing on the cake of his plan.

The problem is people called his bluff, and he didn't get the plea deal.

Of course not, Trump knows he lost by a landslide.

But he's raised over $200,000,000 already SINCE Nov 3rd, due to donations from his base that buy his "I'm still fighting" BS.

And now he's gone

Yes, I believe he sincerely did. He is suffering from dementia and as a result lives in his own delusionary world.

He raised hundreds of million under the guise fighting the steal and spent almost none of it. I think the plan worked.

Did you really think this post through? I don't think you did. Because if you did, you wouldn't have posted it... because this makes you look ridiculous.

I disagree with that, he has done absolutely NOTHING...he threw his own supporters under the bus for petes sake! The first real chance he has to show the people he is TAKING action...and he denies even being involved?!! LOL

Ultimately, he is ALL TALK, (nothing more)
