Deal with it. Elections have consequences, and Trump got his butt kicked and the GOP lost the senate because of him. And because of that, Democrats have total power and can freely do whatever they want.

Be sure the GOP shows up in 2022 if you want to stop the dems from taking action you see as "commie."

No. Even CNN has chimed in. This is about cable news now...like FOX

Heck, just call it "The Ministry of Truth" already because we all know what the motive is.

In China the government does it. Here, we're letting the social media giants do it.

But only if Facebook and Twitter let you

Maybe some comments from world leaders will help:

https://nypost.com/2021/01/12/merkel...s-twitter-ban/
French Junior Minister for European Union Affairs Clement Beaune said he was “shocked” to see the social media platform pull Trump’s account.
“This should be decided by citizens, not by a CEO,”

Acting Australian Prime Minister Michael McCormack said blocking Trump amounts to censorship.

“A world where Maduro is on social media, but Trump is suspended cannot be normal,” Bolsonaro said on Twitter.

In Russia, the opposition leader, Alexey Navalny, who is an outspoken anti-corruption campaigner, said he believed the ban was an unacceptable form of censorship and was based not on a genuine need but rather Twitter’s political preferences.
The timing is very much an issue here. And Trump was not "censored". He has unlimited access to the press, an open mic and no doubt could be on Fox News spouting nonsense all day long, should he choose. Why don't Hannity and Carlson offer him a platform to spread violence? Just answer that.

A private business decided that he had violated their terms of service one too many times and he was contributing to a violent outcome. There is absolutely no question that he violated the policies where he was suspended and banned. He was given much more rope than you or I would be given.

Trump thinks he is above the law. Always has thought this. His family has used their money and power for decades to subvert justice.

Trump was literally beseeched by his own party to address the nation during the riots and barely responded.

Twitter, Et Al may have saved Trump's bacon by stopping him from saying much worse things that would come back to haunt him. Sorta sorry they did that. Wish he had been given far more rope to hang himself.

NOTE...they are specifically talking about social media which has literally replaced all those other forms of communication.

Try reading more global news. Trump wasn't the only one in this world shut out. Facebook/Twitter tried that crap in Uganda ahead of their elections and Uganda banned all social media from their country indefinitely.

Ron Paul had his Facebook page locked after he wrote an article denouncing social media censorship.

Our government has not spoken out at all about the account closures/banning.
Over 15 country leaders have spoken out about it though and none are in favor of what happened.
I know, we are forced to look to Mexico and foreign nations to protect freedom of speech, our own US Congress refuse to protect our freedom of speech.

Russian dissident Alexei Navalny criticizes Trump Twitter ban

Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny on Saturday criticized Twitter for banning US President Donald Trump from the social platform following Wednesday's attack at the US Capitol in Washington, DC.

In a Twitter thread, Navalny said he thinks the ban is "an unacceptable act of censorship."

"This precedent will be exploited by the enemies of freedom of speech around the world. In Russia as well. Every time when they need to silence someone, they will say: 'this is just common practice, even Trump got blocked on Twitter,'" Navalny wrote.

You can bank on that one.

Jeez, when are the normal people going start pushing back. You can only blow her off as a twit for so long here. She by my own standards can say what she wants, but she's also subject to scrutiny for her comments, just as anyone should be.
"Conservative" news outlets (in quotations because current Republicans are not conservatives - they are radicals) are being targeted because they are the ones primarily spreading harmful misinformation.

Rational Republicans (such as myself) are no longer Republicans and don't support this nonsense.

If AOC wants to censor Fox News, Newsmax, and other irresponsible "news" networks, I'm all for it. At least I won't have hear about blatant nonsense like election fraud and mask/vaccine-related conspiracy theories that completely ignore science and logic.

I'm sure Parler would have him! In order to be censored one would need to be cut off from all outlets. He still has a voice. It is like claiming you are being "starved" because Ralph's has banned you for writing bad checks.

"Host Neil Cavuto clarified that Facebook claimed that there were never any restrictions on Paul's page, but rather an administrator of the ex-lawmaker's page was restricted by mistake." Whodda thunk that Ron might jump to wild conclusion. A guy who "forecast" hyperinflation for more than 5 decades. Huh?

It appears that Ron is taking time out from funneling scared elderly insomniacs to Porter Stansbury (convicted thief) to be economically fleeced. Notably while telling tales of the sky falling in front of images of mushroom clouds.

I wouldn't believe a word that ever came from Ron Paul or his son.

And yet your first paragraph is completely forgotten by you, with your last paragraph.

If Trump is guilty of subverting and breaking our laws, why is it Pelosi never impeaches him for supposedly violating those laws?? Trying thinking past the nose on your face.

Meanwhile, Democrats are supporting BLM and antifa as they are burning, looting and assaulting police and murdering people, and did they demand they stop? Hell no. Not only didn't Biden and Harris tell BLM and antifa to stop, they gleefully donated to groups who bailed out the rioters, and told the nation "they will not stop," "nor should they stop."

Trump told the people who rioted need to stop, and to be peaceful, and he demanded that those would were violent and trespassed need to be identified and prosecuted. To this day, Harris and Biden defend the members and leaders of BLM who were violent, or who supported and encouraged violence and lawlessness.
