America looked the other way on Tuesday night as Donald Trump released his farewell address to the country, turning instead to Joe Biden as he landed in Washington D.C. ahead of his inauguration.

Once Biden was on the ground, he immediately demonstrated the type of leadership that Trump has been unwilling or unable to show over the past four years, particularly after the nation was decimated by a virus that has now claimed over 400,000 lives.

At a memorial to honor all of those lives lost in the pandemic, Biden reminded the country what it’s like to have a president who can exhibit real human emotions.

“To heal we must remember,” Biden said. “It’s hard sometimes to remember, but that’s how we heal. It’s important to do that as a nation.”

Over the past year, the United States has suffered so much loss – whether it’s hundreds of thousands of lives lost to the pandemic or millions of folks out of work and struggling to get by.

This suffering was only compounded by the fact that America was being led by a man who refused to acknowledge the pain the country was feeling. Trump was incapable of even pretending to care.

Immediately starts adding TRILLIONS more to the already astronomical debt.

Immediate starts putting minimum wage workers out of jobs.

Immediately starts sending jobs and investment out of the county.

Pravda refused to air it. That's not America "ignoring" it, it's the sycophantic media not covering it. We will have four years of the same, a slobbering, knee-padded media running interference for the Clown in Chief.

LOL, how are you going to "heal" when your party and it's media apparatus are now calling half the country "nazis" and "insurrectionists"?

It would be funny if it wasn't so incompetently dangerous.

We no longer have fact based journalism in the country. The people have been programmed by the biased media.

You know...

If Biden were really leading, we wouldn't have to continue being reminded that he's leading.

If Biden were really the most popular president ever, people would be upset that they couldn't attend the inauguration. i am not seeing many people really care. Having the troops in riot gear is a good way to mask the fact that virtually no one cares about Biden.

America Ignores Trump’s Farewell Address

You ignored it. We, his unwavering supporters, did not. President Donald Trump is the greatest president this country has ever had.

Not surprised. Biden always beat Trump in the ratings.

If anyone would know about not remembering it would be crusty demented Biden. He can keep his sanctimonious crap about healing and stick it where the sun don't shine.

You would have to be a complete fool to believe any of that.

You don't heal a country by banning free speech by your opposition and having your party talk about reprogramming 100 million people that will never buy into a word he says.
