Mitch McConnell is an extraordinary politician. I’ve seen many Republicans on this forum supporting his most shameful behavior. Now, Mitch is smelling the water and figured the ship is sinking. Remaining loyal to his persona he’s abandoning the ship:

Just wondering what those who supported him are saying now...

I hope his constituents get rid of him. He wouldn't get my vote ever again. Mitch is a spineless traitor, like so many others who are showing their true colors. Voters will not forget.

When the crime organization is busted criminals turn on each other.

We are seeing it play out yet again.

Mitch never liked Trump. He used Trump to create a conservative federal court that will last a long time. It's his proudest accomplishment.

Pence and McConnell were in a difficult spot with team crazy, they stayed on to avoid a disaster.

He just got elected for 6 more years, sport. I'd venture this is his last swan song if you haven't figured that out.

That's the spirit! Yeah, screw Mitch for turning on Trump. In fact, if I were you, I'd never vote for another Republican again! Tell your friends! Get them all to not vote!

Even better, vote Democrat! That'll show em!

McConnell has always been a shrewd politician. He used Trump to get what he wanted. But Trump lost the senate for the party and also lost the election. McConnell has no use for him anymore and therefore no loyalty to him.

McConnell was adept at using Trump to get much of the things done the GOP wanted. Of course he would dump Trump when Trump went off the deep end. McConnell is an astute politician whether you like him or not. He and Nancy P. both.
