I'm pretty sure when a president's first move is to invite illegal aliens and re-engage one-sided international regulations while locking down Americans, it is his loyalty to the country that should be questioned
Many of the details of this time — the vulgar offensiveness, the two-bit grifters he gathered around him, the comical lies — will fade in their particulars from our memories as time passes. One day you may struggle to explain to your grandchildren what it was like when Trump was president, to conjure the details that would help them fully understand what made each day of this period so horrid.
From today’s WaPo, can’t post a link, great essay though. Find it and read the entire article.
It is refreshing to see a president who actually means it instead of one who walks over to a church holding a Bible upside down just to make a political gesture.
Yes - finally. We are at full employment; we have a balanced budget; the stock market is booming; no one is sick; we have achieved herd immunity and the pandemic is over; our trade balance is balanced; the national deficit has been reduced to zero; the US dollar is considered the safest reserve currency; the NBA and the NFL are fully diversified; students who are members of the AA racial group have been granted unlimited access to the Ivys (that's Asian-Americans); Apple introduces a new phone on the fifth of every month like clockwork (unfortunately they are using an Android clock and it's not compatible); the police have been fully defunded and social workers now respond to burglaries to talk to the intruders and convince the thieves not to steal; and finally, the White House and the US Congress have endorsed Assisted Living and Nursing Home Care coverage under their universal health care proposal but have removed maternity coverage since their average age is over 75.
Thanks for the end of the nightmare. I'm going back to sleep. Rip Van Winkle had the right idea.
Nah. We still have older boomers that need to go to pasture. Get them all out politics. Slow but sure - need fresh blood -with time limits. sick of them all.
You just elected a swamp creature that would be eighty two when he leaves office - if he lasts that long. He's so dam old he's not even a boomer.
There's going to be a course in that at your local community college. Please attend.
Is that the course called "left wing hypocrisy and fraud 101"?
