The Cobalt from the Congo uses "artisan" miners who then sell to Chinese refiners.

Elon Musk still hasn't made any promises to modify his supply chain.

Now there is a thread saying the MyPillow CEO is a traitor and deserves to go out of business.

Meanwhile Musk is a good immigrant who wants to save the environment.

Tell me, do any of you care that Musk funds slavery? Is that patriotic? Is that why the state of california offers him subsidies, and he benefits from cap and trade.

Is he the real patriot, do you even care?

Musk was a designated winner during Obama's presidency. His wealth and success was largely subsidized. You want government to pick winners and losers. Don't complain when they do.

Now that Musk is filthy rich, he can do whatever he wants and he can get away with it. California tried to pull back those subsidies after he threatened to move operations to Texas. Didn't phase him. Good luck dealing with the beast you created. I do hope he keeps pushing for Mars. If he uses his wealth to create a space colony, the wealth transferred to him would not be squandered.

At least those children are learning and gaining experience in a useful trade though, unlike American kids that are surfing the web, and playing Halo.

I'm no fan of Musk, Tesla or SpaceX. So to me, you're preaching to the choir

Why would American kids want to learn a trade? Democrats are going to outlaw employment and jobs within the next decade, at the rate they are going.

You are right. They should all join up with Antifa/BLM, and learn about rioting, civil disobedience, and occupying govt structures.

You know the device you typed this on was probably made with some child labor?

Good job. In your thread title you call it child slavery. In the body of your post you use the term "artisan" miners. I congratulate you on using the fine craft of click baiting. Well done sir, well done. You got us in everything and gave us nothing.

Yeah, it's child slavery.

I know libertarians are big fans of slave labor, but destroying lives and forcing children to live off of artisanal mining is not freedom.

'Artisanal' is a word used to mean mining with your hands.

Sometimes the company houses and feeds them like real slaves, but you know then they died when the mine collapses in on them.

No families, or villages, just death.

But again, Libertarians hate freedom.
