Facebook's Zuckerberg mad at Apple because they want to allow for privacy setting/control on it's new platform. Facebook saying that will hurt them because they want that data to sell to marketers. Facebook called that practice anti competitive.

So Apple endorses some degree of privacy and/or control and Zuckerberg/a competitor get upset???

Apple is doing much more than just endorsing privacy. Their latest system upgrade actively blocks intrusions on a user's privacy very strongly.
It notifies a user weekly of how many attempts have been made and blocked over the past week, and a user has to go in and loosen the blocks up if he wants a looser control.

Zuckerberg's Facebook is totally set up to learn everything it can about anyone who uses Facebook. It has more ways to learn what it wants than we know about.

But Apple knows them all and how blocks them right and left. Zuck should worry; he will have to change up his entire profit system if Apple's actions are taken up by all the other manufacturers.

I saw that. It let's you know all you need to know, to understand where the greedy fascists in social media are coming from. They have zero respect for your privacy, they want to know everything about you, so they can sell your information to the highest bidder, even if that bidder is the Communist Chinese government.

Zuckerberg is mad about losing control of people's privacy settings? I feel so sorry about that. (Not really)

The sad thing is, for most of the Democrats on this forum, it would be like pulling teeth for them to come out against Zuckerberg on this, because they have become the shills for big tech and big social media

Apple is not big tech?

Apple collects data so does Facebook. So what this amounts to is that Apple can continue to collect data and Facebook can be left out...

(Which by the way... was always the case. If you have privacy concerns just don't use Facebook.)

I see this as a similar move when Microsoft successfully in killing off their competitor.. Netscape. Its not about Democrats vs Republicans... its business.

It's really easy, though.

I cannot stand Zuck and facebook is mainly a time waster.
