Wear a mask when you are out Walking your dog in your own neighborhood? Please tell
Me why that would be necessary
Squadrons of covid attack viruses are circling overhead at any given location in the US--even out in the middle of unpopulated deserts. They will seek you out and go right for your orifices. A good trick to fool the attack viruses and not let them enter your mouth or nose is to wrap your head with Saran Wrap before venturing out. It is an impermeable barrier for viruses.

I don't wear a mask when I walk my dog or shovel snow. I did wear a mask when we met our friends and their young one on the sledding hill. It's hard to social distance there with lots of kids. We had it down for one quick picture together.

I think common sense more than anything else is needed here. If you're going to be out in public with a lot of people around. Wear a mask. We did when we went to see an over the top house decorated for Christmas. There was a line of too many people close to each other with few wearing masks. We had our N95's on and chose to stand on the other side of the street to see it instead. We had to walk to it with a whole lot of other people, so masks were necessary.

I talk to people when I'm out walking without a mask on, but we are at least 6 feet apart or more. I will not go anywhere crowded inside or out without a mask on.

Jill Biden is surrounded by secret service now, so it's definitely the right thing to do for her to wear a mask outside. It also sets a good example.

Unfortunately another GOP rep died today from Covid. Congressman Ron Wright was only 67 and had lung cancer in 2018. He should have been wearing an N95 everywhere he went. What a preventable tragic loss.

Requiring pets to wear masks when walking is no more ridiculous than requiring their owners to do so.

I keep trying to explain this to my dog but he just gives me a blank stare and starts barking. Sometimes when he's out walking one of my neighbors will stop to pet him. I don't mind but what if he's asymptomatic? That would for sure be a death sentence to my obese neighbor, and she's a nice lady. I'll have to explain to him today that there will be no more walks if he keeps refusing to comply. Hopefully he can maintain eye contact and pay attention this time.

Even when I go maskless for a stroll outdoors, I find I still need to carry a mask because there are bottlenecks and you may need to mask up. Just keep one in your pocket.

Yeah. When my neighbors are out walking their dogs or just walking and we chat, they aren't idiots. They don't wear masks and we stay 6 feet apart from each other.
