Weird how we skipped a whole generation to baby boomers and Gen X presidents after Bush Sr.

Another neat thing is that he appears far more intelligent when he actually is silent.

Gen X are people born from 1965 to 1980, I'm pretty sure we haven't had a Gen X president yet, Obama was born in 1961?

Another generational post.

I don’t really see how generations are all that relevant, especially when there are supposedly hard cutoff dates for them.

We had 7 in a row from the Greatest Generation. They overshadowed the Silent Generation. Also the Silents were raised during the Great Depression and maybe had more of a survival instinct than leadership.

We had 4 in a row from the Boomers, with Clinton, W. and Trump all born in 1946.

Gen X- smart enough to know 'It's better to own a politician than to be one'.

Some sources say Gen X is 1965 to 1985. But yes, I have never seen anyone refer to someone born in 1961 as Gen X. Only as a Boomer.

Someone came up with a new "generation" made up of late boomers and early Gen Xers and called it generation Jones. Obama would fall into this category. I dont know if it is really "a thing" though, but in reality, are any of the generations?

As was pointed out, by another, we've not actually had a Gen-X President, but I think it's coming in the next round, and no, it's not Kamala Harris who is (barely) still a boomer.
