Main difference here is that the left has a long track record of this type behavior. They seek to hurt and/or destroy the lives of anyone or anything that gets in their way.
Leftists keep going back to a single one day event and saying "Look...Look at that horrible insurrection created by right wing terrorists". In the meantime, leftists are still mad as hell about everything and anything and still throwing fits about only God knows what. Destruction is in their DNA.
And no, I don't agree with what happened at the capital, but when you push around a group of people that is 74 million strong, calling them Nazis, bigots, homophobes, deplorables, racists, and whatever Trumpish insult you can refer to them as, you can expect at least a couple thousand of them to fight back.
If continuing to go back to a one day event carried out by right wing perpetrators in order to justify the everyday bad behavior of the left is what helps you sleep better at night, carry on I guess.

Who is it that's been rioting, burning, razing and looting again? The Bay Area, LA, DC, Chicago, NYC, Baltimore, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Kenosha, Boston, Las Vegas, Reno, Sacramento, how many violent mobs that have caused wonton destruction and mayhem for political reasons have been done by this so called "right wing extremist terror threat?" Only twice in the last four years can I bring anything readily to mind. Charlottesville and just recently in DC and yet these are the ones being hammered endlessly by the media and their leftist masters.
And they sit there and tell us the extreme violence we have seen by the left has been inflated and by and large it was "peaceful protest and the 1A at work." Whatever. Here locally just recently during election lead up we had two incidents involving firearms at "protests'. No, it was NOT pro 2A or Trump supporters either. They were leftist anti Trump types, radical left wingers. Both incidents involved AK type rifles being carried hot with safeties off. Negligent discharge by bonehead know nothings. In the first incident two rounds were discharged in rapid succession. Only one in the last one, still it's a miracle nobody was seriously hurt or killed.
The ones who did this claimed "accidental discharge" There's no such thing. It's NEGLIGENT discharge and I firmly believe the first incident was purposeful. It is the LEFT wing extremists causing the lions share of violence. Far more than the lions share. Whats left wouldn't even make the jackles and hyenas more than a sniff. And yet 25000+ regular Army troops were deployed to DC for Biden's inauguration.And before some left wing Bidenette says "those are National Guard troops not Army" think again. When the NG is deployed under federal order that patch above the left lapel of their uniforms means just what it says. US ARMY. They are only National Guard when operating in their home states under the governor of that states orders. They become US Army regulars when deployed under federal auspices.
They stopped being NG when they were first deployed overseas in numbers in DS 1. The NG is US Army reserve now. ONE incident did that. Out of dozens and dozens which were actually condoned by Democrat governors and mayors who very notably refused federal help as their cities burned. They didn't even want US Marshals, DHS, or any federal LE in their cities to defend federal buildings. They told Trump to "get his stormtroopers out of their cities." I'm way past fed up with hearing the Dems bleat about "right wing violence.

I agree. And this is why a person like Trump should never have won the first time. The man openly called for violence against protesters at his rally. So now the box is open and chickens home to roost. I DETEST people like this who send deatg threats and show up at people's homes but this is the result of NOT taking domestic terrorists seriously.

Its another effort by the left to undermine the constitution. They want to undermine the right to counsel. They undermine free speech by taking your jobs away. They want to keep you from using banking services if you donate to the "wrong" group. Its a mob based totalitarian state. Democrats colors should be brown, not blue.
The seething hatred from the left is undeniably real and palpable. So much so that they will attack those who are just trying to do their job, like trial lawyers and blue collar police officers. What makes this particularly despicable is that no left wing politician has the gonads to call out their own over this obvious violence and hatred. In fact, Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters were practically begging for violence in the streets when Trump first took office.
By not calling out their own over this mayhem, left wing politicians are essentially encouraging this unnecessary and unproductive violence. So, we should only expect more of this violence from the left. It's no wonder Americans are stocking up on guns and ammo.
