Its funny. Google has been prioritizing/filtering/censoring search results since its inception. At least here they are taking their mask off, woke as it is
I opened Google Chrome this morning and saw a new banner link at the bottom of the home page - where I have never seen one before.
It read:
Is this what is meant by inclusiveness and unity that we were promised by the new Administration, because I believe that it is actually segregating and divisive. I am not a racist - I really don't care what race the owner of a business I patronize is.
Then that button isn't for you.
It isn't making you buy from anywhere.
It isn't saying you should.
So no big deal.
Whether or not you like or support -- or I like and support -- there has been more interest in supporting Black owned businesses especially during February.
It doesn't fuss me -- I don't care what color folks are either......so I don't pay any attention to it.
So no problem if next month we direct consumers away from black companies and toward whites? And ask people to donate to white only causes at the cash register?
Why should I buy from a black company rather than the company with the better product, as I determine it to be relative to my needs, regardless of race? Why are you OK with racism?
No one is making you buy from any company. You get to choose the product, the company, the shipping method. So does everyone else.
I get hit up to donate to all kinds of charities at cash registers (St Judes being the one I hear most) and never once have I been asked to donate to a specifically “black” charity. Maybe you can list the ones you’ve been asked to donate to?
BTW, if you want to donate to a charity, doing it at a cash register is a bad way. Do it directly on the charities website so they get all your money not just a portion with some going to the fund raising company that sets up those cash register donations.
