Now what would that organization called NASA know about earths atmosphere, they only just put a rover on Mars.

Better to use some unknown writer's opinion, especially one with a weather report saying it the planet can't be warming because it's snowing in Texas.

CO2 levels have fluctuated wildly throughout earth's 4.5 billion years. Nearly all of the fluctuations had nothing to do with humans as they didn't even exist. The fluctuations occurred naturally, and will continue to do so long after humans are extinct.

But other than the simple fact that it's a lie, does anyone else see it as slap in the face to your average patriotic American?

First off, look out the window! What's that white, watery stuff on the ground? Why do you have to dress in three layers just to retrieve your mail? And why do the windowpanes feel cold? That wouldn't be happening if it were actually warm outside!

Second, look at the problems the cold weather is causing. People have to spend hours digging their cars out of the snow, with some getting injured as a result: from banal pulled muscles to dangerous heart attacks. Cars are skidding off the roads and/or getting into accidents due to the heavy snowfalls, resulting in costly insurance claims and repairs. Railroad switches are getting stuck in ice, causing massive delays to passengers and freight. Wind turbines and solar cells in Texas are freezing up, costing human lives and property damage from lack of ability to generate electricity. Where's the "warming" part? Seriously, I want to know!

Last but not least, we have elderly persons who can't afford to heat their homes in the midst of this "global warming". So they have to choose between having a proper meal and feeling warm in their homes. I DARE each and every "scientist" to look those elderly men and women in their eyes, and TELL them the world is getting warmer!!! Would they do it? Highly unlikely! They're too cowardly for that. And if they tried, it wouldn't end well if an elderly person still had full use of their fists.

So, does anyone else find the "global warming" lie to be a slap in the face? We're having all these problems from the extreme cold weather all over, and Democrats have the gall to lie to us that's "actually" getting warmer, only we're not realizing it. Again, all these problems from the cold, and "scientists" tell us that it's "warm". That's no different than O'Brien in the Ministry of Love telling Winston Smith that 2 + 2 is really 5, only he must make himself see it, all while torturing him with a pain machine.
There are positive feedback loops and negative feedback loops. Both usually exist at the same time, our bodies are the best example. Some loops cause blood pressures to increase even though they are already high, some will attempt to reduce when high, it all depends.

I would imagine the climate and weather of the WORLD would be similarly complicated to understand unless you understand those feedback loops. Cause and effect is much more complicated than the grade school weather educations we get in school or from a weatherman.

Yeah, well "global warmers," now pivoted to "climate changers" have hung their hats on CO2 levels and carbon emissions, so they're stuck with that, as idiotic as it is. That's another way you can tell it's just junk science.

NASA has admitted both that the Antarctic ice sheet is growing and a major glacier in Greenland is growing. Those are indicators of pre-glaciation, not of warming.

Climate change isn't about the climate it's about implementing the left's pre-existing economic and social agenda. Pollution is bad in its own right and we should limit it as much as possible. We don't need this end of the world stuff to sell that, but they do need it to sell their more drastic agenda.

To balance out the entire North America being an ice box, you'd been another huge continent being a hellish inferno. But the huge Asia is mostly cold, and even very hot places like Riyadh and Singapore aren't turning into infernos.
Q.E.D. there no global warming, and both "scientists" and Democrats are lying.

And again, tell the elderly persons shivering in their drafty houses that the world is getting warmer. If that's not a slap in the face to them, nothing is. Don't tell it to a middle-class American like me, living in an apartment with good insulation and free heat.
As has been said here and elsewhere ad infinitum weather and climate are two different things. Two weeks of unusually cold weather in a very small section of the globe does not change the overall warming taking place. All of North America is not in a ice box. It was east of the rockies from the plains down to the gulf. The east coast and west coast did not have record cold. Last year in the SW USA from June to the end of October were 5 to 10 degrees above normal. Hottest summer by far in that region. 20 weeks of hot hot weather. That alone more that cancels out this historic cold snap in the middle of the country for 2 weeks. In fact it Texas was way warmer than normal before the cold snap so February will probably end up 5-10 degrees or so below normal in Texas and the surrounding states that have been cold. Again 4 weeks of 5-10 degrees below average compared to 20 weeks of 5-10 degrees above average last summer. In fact in Texas in January of 2017 it was 5-10 degrees above normal with some towns in South Texas approaching 100 degrees a couple times that month.

University of Alabama Huntsville Global Temperature Report going back to 1979.

I am not a climate alarmist. The sky is not falling. I don't want carbon taxes or radical changes to energy use. Slowly the technology will replace fossil fuels and other things that are causing the warming. But to have your head in the sand and say nothing is happening is ridiculous.

The Antarctic is adding some ice while the Artic is losing ice rapidly, some glaciers have been unaffected but in general glaciers across the globe are disappearing which is to be expected with warmer temperatures. Greenland is losing ice extensively.

Nope. The major glacier in Greenland is growing.
