So the whole "jobs Americans/natives won't do" canard is basically false.
It's always been a falacy. There are no jobs that Americans won't do for a fair wage and for those they won't do for a living such as crop picking we have unlimited visas for them.

Immigration has always been a hot potato topic that is tossed around on the lead up to elections and then promptly dropped and kicked down the road.
The problem is No One Wants to Be the Bad Guy. We all know that the border should be secured. We all know that illegal aliens are a huge drain on our welfare, healthcare and society but no one will stand up to do anything about it. Well the top Dems did about 10 years ago with Pelosi, Hillary and even Obama making speeches about the threats and dangers of illegal immigration.
Trump dared to talk about the problem and he tried to actually do something about it and the Dems demonized him for it. Maybe if he had come out on favor of an open border like Biden is we would have had massive support for a 1000 mile wall 30 feet high?
Biden is doing a lot of stupid things that defy common sense like shutting down the pipeline, pledging Billions to foreign countries, pledging 1 million covid shots to the world while so many still wait for it here, gun control measures that will violate Rights and of course flooding the country his catch and release of illegal aliens.
We should all be fearful of Bidens schemes and more so of the people that are pulling the strings.
The dems in this regard are pretty much like the old cat lady on the corner. There is always room for another one because they are adorable. The house is ripped apart, reeks of urine and old newspapers, is basically unfit to live in but there is always room for another kitten.

In this case the cats are also making demands, and the cat lady’s landlord is charging others more rent to subsidize the cat lady.

It's a term meant to dehumanize certain people. Since they are then "lesser" people, it's easier to treat them like trash. Of course, "they broke the law" is used against them. This isn't new in history.
Good! Make them feel unwelcome and unwanted so they can go back home. Personally I refuse to hire any company that uses them and if any contractor brings a group that appears to be illegal I am going to check their papers. Let them prove their not! If they don't like it, screw it. There are plenty of other companies around. I'll use them.
I can't stand this appeasing to the illegals. I spent a lot of money and time bringing my wife here. And my mom went through a vetting process to LEGALLY immigrate from Norway in the 50's!
