The wealthiest three people in the country control more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population. A higher tax on the ultra wealthy is an extremely reasonable suggestion.

Why anyone with any money would vote Dem is beyond me. They want to tax everyone into oblivion to pay for all of the BS "free" stuff they keep promising people.

Taking people’s money away at gunpoint is extremely reasonable? I think the word I would use is “evil.”

You and billions of consumers voluntarily made those people rich. Have you ever considered not giving them your money?

A wealth tax would likely be struck down as unconstitutional, based on prior rulings.

Is A Wealth Tax Constitutional?

But Warren is pretty knowledgeable about this stuff, so maybe she knows how to pull it off.

I was a republican for decades. Republicans used to care about more than the ultra-wealthy.

I've got a co-worker that thinks if you make 10 million in a year that the government should be able to take 90% of that money. In his mind 1 million is enough to make in a year. I can't believe he says some of the things he actually says. I'm not sure what is the right amount, but 90% isn't the figure to me.
