You can always gauge the character of people upon how they treat people beneath them. And now they want them there until May... because of the boogeyman that they have created for themselves.
National Guard soldiers defending the US Capitol have gotten ill after being fed meat that is almost completely raw — with shaved metal also found in the disgusting meals, according to whistleblowers.
An anonymous staff sergeant with the Michigan National Guard told WXYZ that the force has repeatedly complained after more than a dozen troops were sickened by undercooked meat.
“Yesterday, for instance, there were 74 different meals found with raw beef in them,” the sergeant told the station Monday, sharing images of meat that looked completely raw in the middle.

Despite their key role in defending the Capitol against feared domestic terrorist plots, the troops were also being woefully underfed, the sergeant complained.
A typical breakfast was “maybe a Danish and some sort of juice,” while at times it was “clearly a dinner roll and SunnyD,” the sergeant said.
Thousands of National Guardsmen were “banished” to a cramped parking garage after being abruptly forced to leave parts of the US Capitol grounds Thursday, according to reports.
Officers were told they could no longer access areas of the US Capitol Complex — including a Senate office cafeteria previously used as a rest area — after tirelessly protecting the nation’s capital in the days leading up to the presidential inauguration, according to Politico.
“We honestly just feel betrayed,” one Guardsman told the outlet. “After everything went seamlessly, we were deemed useless and banished to a corner of a parking garage.”

Photos appear to show troops lying on the cement floor to rest and sleeping while leaning against concrete pillars inside the garage, angering some officers.
“We feel incredibly betrayed,” a Guardsman said. “Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage.”
Those volunteer troops were always to be used by the leftists to fool people into believing there was an ongoing problem. Once used, they were to be discarded. As long as they were walking around with their guns, they accomplished what the leftists wanted, and merited no more attention from them.
Armed troops have always been considered by the leftists to be unpleasant interlopers with no rightful place in their utopian society, with the ultimate goal of getting rid of them. Probably uncomfortable for the leftists to use them at all. They certainly didn't give a lot of thought to how to do it right... and whether they even deserved to be treated right.
The Dems are great at creating an issue and then coming in to fix like they are heroes.
They are also good at using things such as the military to advance their agenda and when done they toss them into the trash. They have done the same with our Police. They call for defunding and disbanding Police Departments across the country to root out the perceived threat of racism but when they need the Police who do they call?
We only need to compare the security in DC to that at the border to realize what the Democrats think is important enough to protect and it is not America and her average citizen or Legal Immigrant.

And the same standard should apply to the POTUS, right?
Are the representatives, specifically dem representatives, personally responsible for feeding and housing troops?
Or would it be the chain of command above the deployed troops?

ASSume anything you like, I don't believe I've ever seen any complaint from you when righties go back 150 years and proclaim themselves the party of Lincoln. I also don't believe I've ever seen you apply the standard you propose in the OP, that the character of people be gauged by the way they treat those beneath them, to the former POTUS. Then again I guess it wouldn't apply to someone having no character.
