A Manhattan private school aiming to use more “inclusive language” is encouraging its students to stop using the terms “mom,” “dad” and “parents” because the words make “assumptions” about kids’ home lives.
The Grace Church School in Noho — which offers academic courses for junior kindergarten through 12th grade — issued a 12-page guide to students and staff explaining the school’s mission of inclusivity.
The detailed guide recommends using the terms “grown-ups,” “folks,” “family” or “guardians” as alternatives to “mom,” “dad” and “parents.” It also suggests using “caregiver” instead of “nanny/babysitter.”
Heterosexism/Heteronormativity
The assumption that heterosexuality is the natural or default form of sexuality, and is inherently good or inevitable. An example of heterosexism is when straight individuals’ sexuality is implied, and only LGBTQ+ people have to “come out” and declare their sexuality publicly in order to be acknowledged or legitimized.
I would have used the word "normal" in place of the underlined - but I guess that is also an outdated term.
Last I checked, 100% of babies born in the world are from a heterosexual union. Is that considered normal, or does that need to change as well?
In other words, give the middle finger to those who potentially sacrificed their lives to bring you into the world and bothered to nurture and finance you. Got it.

What's wrong with calling your mom, mom and dad, dad?
Why are they trying to change all the pronouns? What's wrong with he, she, they, them, we, etc?
What is the left's goal in all this changing or pronouns? They think there are 50 different ways to describe what sex we are and we can't be addressed and male or female. We're all 'its'?
So a bunch of idiots in the white house really think after hundreds of years, that in the 2 years they have left as majority in the house, they think we'll all adapt to how they think? Good luck with that. Like I said, they are idiots.

Defining white privilege (even though they are not supposed to be using color designations to describe people)
Privilege is best understood as the system of advantages that one has. These advantages are sometimes at the expense of another group, often due to historical discrimination. Some privileges are earned, such as achieving a masters degree, but some are unearned, such as being born with light colored skin or being born male. Historically, the unearned privilege of whiteness and maleness allowed some to enter universities to earn their education, so an unearned privilege helped facilitate getting an earned privilege. In terms of race and skin color, white people have unearned privileges in many instances such as being preferred home buyers, being perceived as trustworthy by the police, or being able to see people who share their heritage in history books and in the media. The system that maintains that privilege and power for white people is called white supremacy.

The word changes separate children from their parents. There is no acknowledgment of the special relationship most parents have with their children. It severs the bond between parent and child if mom and dad are simply other "grown-ups" with no special and unique relationship with the child.
It's a form of parental alienation fostered by the institution and the new society.
The political left wants the government to be parents, not your mom & dad.

Lol, good luck with that. I can safely assume kids are going to use whatever language or words they want to use. Mom, Dad and parents, etc. isn't going to go away.
