Well the original gay supper hero couple was Batman and Robin. I mean think about it why did Batman keep Robin around?

How about we leave sex out of the comics? (unless it is porn, or something)
I don't understand the need to make a gay superhero. Do gay people live by their sexual preference? Does gay come first for them. I'm trying to understand. If I meet a gay person on the street, are they going to first identify as gay and then something like their first name? It feels like if you are gay, the media and the world wants you to be gay first and then the fact that you are man or women next, educated next, skin color in there somewhere, etc. Can gay people not enjoy a superhero unless they are gay?

Why is the LGBT community constantly trying to shove gayness in everyone's faces?
There must be a gay character on every TV show, in every comic book, etc, despite gays being only 3% or 4% of the population.

That's the one and only problem I have with the issue. I don't care whether anyone is gay or not. What I do care about is that fact being rubbed in everyone's noses.

It's pathetic. There are many things I do not like that others do. That typically is not a problem: I avoid that which I do not like while others engage in that which I do not like. As I said above, the problem is the flag waving. It's like a group of people speaking Latvian and screaming at the top of their lungs at everyone that they speak Latvian. ALL RIGHT ALREADY! So you speak Latvian. Cogratulations, but who gives a damn?

I think they just miss the participation trophies from their youth.

4% = 1 in every 25.

most TV shows have an ensemble of more than 25 people. surely you understand gay people exist in real life and there fore in fiction as well.

There have been gay characters in comics since the 70s and more open characters in the 80s. Its nothing new and nothing "Today" about it.

The character in the drawing is a spitting image of one of my friends who is gay... except my friend is far more built... If the characters hair on the back were shaved.. just mohawk on top... it would be a perfect likeness. Its kinda uncanny.

going to poke fun at him the next time I see him... Hey Cap! Buy yah a beer?

Declining readership, ya gotta do something to spark some controversy and try to lure in readers.
They should have just done a title with Cap wearing a MAGA hat and stopping Hydra from installing Joe Biden as POTUS.

I ONLY hear about this stuff from the right-wing outrage machine. Could it be that much of this "rubbing homosexuality in everyone's faces" is happening on conservative news stations in order to keep their viewers outraged?
