All good points. Reagan was a high achiever no doubt. I didn't agree with all his policies, but I had and still have a deep respect for the man.

Can you imagine the republicans voting for him today though? I don't think he would have a chance. Just being president of SAG would have disqualified him. LOL

Really? I'm pretty sure the left did their very best to let the world know Reagan was going to murder everyone with nuclear weapons. There were protest, of course, in NYC. One million useful idiots. The entire plan Reagan had all along was to do his very best to remove nuclear weapons from the face of the earth. He did better than anyone else at achieving that goal in our lifetime. But they still protested him even when he explicitly said he wanted to remove nuclear weapons from the face of the earth.

Who was worse between the two? I'd have to say Trump, but only because he didn't get his second term. But it is close. I mean, Reagan was truly the best president in my lifetime which would make Trump the second best, therefore the"worst of the two......but still at the top!.

The damage Reagan did was much worse and will be longer-lasting than anything Trump did. It started with Reagan when he was governor of California, reducing or ending educational and social programs right and left. When the air traffic controllers asked for a reasonable wage, he fired them all and put everyone at risk while newcomers learned the job. Any way he could cut programs for those in need and reduce taxes for his rich, conservative cronies, he did it. Under him, the power of corporations gained in ways that may never be ended. Trump was too busy serving his own interests to give nearly as much to the rich.

Hilarious- a leftie gets all bunched about threads comparing two terrible presidents and one fake president- Carter, Obama and Biden. So they make a thread comparing two GREAT presidents.

Why are Trump and Reagan great presidents? Because the left hates them and the left is always wrong.

IMO, Reagan was the best president of the 20th century and Trump was the best since Lincoln.

That is a tough call. Both were heavily criminal administrations but I give the nod to Trump.
