No. It. Has. Not.

Population is declining.

It’s economy depends on raw materials.

That is not how first world nations economies work.

Smoke and mirrors.

It's amusing to see Joe Biden, the brainless idiot, doing worse diplomatically than Trump with the one nation that we have a verifiable Mutually Assured Destruction relationship with. Russia may be messed up and Putin is tsar in everything but name. Very much like Ivan the Terrible to be honest. Still, you do need to at least try to get along. MAD ain't no joke, so play nice and keep it civil.

Wasn't it Trump that was supposedly a foreign relations nightmare?? How many wars will His Fraudulency get us into??

Russia Russia Russia
This was a stupid thing for Biden to say. I am not saying it was not true, just that it was stupid.

Bull****.

Tens of thousands of Russian troops are involved in Ukraine.
There never was a real Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Russians surely sent in support for the separatists, both material and fighters (a shady mix of people including civilians, mercenaries, and some soldiers, albeit not openly), but it was nothing compared to an invasion in a real war. It was all pretty much under the radar, here a little convoy, there a few tanks.

Since Russia was defending fellow ethnic Russians, they had to be careful and could not attack the area as if it were enemy territory, as in a real war. Nor did they attack the rest of the Ukraine, especially Kiev, which would have been the natural thing to do if it had been a war between the two countries.

Oh boy! Haven’t you bought the Russian propaganda hook line and sinker!

Whole Russian military units were deployed.

Get out of here with that pack of lies.

Let me guess... you think Putin is a great guy, right?

What do you call that thing that happened in Crimea? Crimea was Ukrainian territory. Now it's fully controlled and occupied by Russia.

Absolutely. Likes and dislikes aside, the world is safer because we have someone at the helm who is thoughtful in his actions, uses facts, gains the advice of experts, and makes decisions.

I'm trying to skate the whole "Cognitive slipping" issue, as it's hear-say whether applied to Trump or Biden. The fact is that we have someone who is predictable in a good way, in that they'll honor agreements, and follow some level of protocol and precidence.

Yes, we are much safer than when we had a leader who lobbed fifth-grade insults at world leaders.

Russia struggled in Georgia? Second class Russian and Chechen forces destroyed the Georgian army as an effective fighting force in just 18 hours.

They forced their complete surrender in a matter of days. Russian troops were within mere miles of Tblisi.
