It's all in your perspective. Most people thought any of Trump's "performances" were disgusting, uneducated sounding, ridiculous, and embarrassing. Yet, there was another contingent that clapped and hooped at him like trained circus seals. As they say, there's no accounting for taste.
Mr. MaGoo lied repeatedly, is obviously senile, read answers, was never challenged, took only about 10 pre-scripted questions he had written answers to.

Press conferences aren’t just about delivery it’s about substance. Trump was more forceful but Biden addressed every question from the press, he wasn’t smooth but he was very forceful and convincing. He’s not Bill Clinton but he did very well.
There were 40 reporters allowed in the room - the 'press conference' lasted 67 minutes.
JoeBama struggled to answer exactly 10 questions in 67 minutes from ONLY 10 Pre-selected 'reporters' who had to submit their questions in advance.
Few people would call that Razzle Dazzle production "every question from the press".
One wonders if he was prepped with the questions in advance, so he could have prepared answers, since he seems to have the reporters numbered in order he likely called on them.
Also where were the obnoxious reporters making negative comments and questions directed at Biden, like they did to Trump?
Exactly. Trump had many impromptu pressers as he was departing via helicopter. He welcomed questions from those that disagreed with him, and relished the debate.
Biden is a milktoast; too afraid to take the hard questions. Sad.

Politico article from August 2019 - in 8 months, President Trump had done 80 Q & A with the press just at Marine 1 on the White House Lawn. The Media called it "Chopper Talk". I would remind folks that President Trump went to this format for Press Briefings after the horrible rude was the Press Corp treated his Press Secretary.

And when Obama spoke to reporters in transit, he tended to use a podium, adding a dash of formality to the press scrum.
Reporters say the shift from a formal process — in which the president or his press secretary call on reporters one-by-one, without knowing what will be asked, and where follow-up questions are expected — diminishes their ability to hold him accountable.

Interesting that Russia was never mentioned during this “ Press Conference”.
