They sound desperate...

They know there is reasonable doubt established on "cause".

But if the jurors don't want their homes destroyed, they will comply with Ellison.
Judge Cahill will include instructions re: "reasonable doubt", the following from the
DEFENDANT’S PROPOSED JURY INSTRUCTIONS:

Quote:
PROOF BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT

Proof beyond a reasonable doubt is such proof as ordinarily prudent men and women would act upon in their most important affairs. A reasonable doubt is a doubt based upon reason and common sense. It does not mean beyond all possibility of doubt, or a doubt based upon speculation or irrelevant details.

If the jury views the evidence in this case as reasonably permitting either of two conclusions – one of innocence, the other of guilt – the jury must, of course adopt the conclusion of innocence.

CRIMJIG 3.03(modified); State v. Al-Naseer, 788 N.W.2d 469, 473 (Minn. 2010).

I don't understand how the jurors are going to do this impartially, knowing how much danger they could be in....
Its a forgone conclusion, they'll protect themselves and their families, as they should.

and fentanyl and meth. Right there is reasonable doubt. He also has 75-90% heart blockage, a history of lying about his breathing while being arrested. This jury should have been sequestered since their selection. I hope there is someone on that jury that has the balls to do the right thing. Floyd was a worthless pos and overdosed himself, fought with police then died.

any legal pro want to explain to me why the state can attest to Floyds good character and not have to account for his criminal actions and the defense isn't allowed to show his criminal behavior/history?

Not foregone conclusion.
An assumption.

An adult that is priveldged to serve on as a juror is vetted to the extent that they will not allow outside influence determine their
Final verdict of guilt or innocence .

Jurist are sworn by oath by the judge.

It takes prudence .

Yeah there’s no way people don’t know who they are. There’s so many people in the courthouse and media that someone will leak their info and it’s impossible to know who it was. The only easy thing to figure out is if let’s say there’s a hung jury and mysteriously the 2 or 3 jurors who held up the verdict have someone come after them you can be pretty sure one of the other jurors was responsible and it’s much easier in that case to know who the troublemaker was
