Why do people that riot smash the windows of innocent businesses? I've never understood this. They are mad at the cops and do attack them, but mainly they attack stores, banks and private property. Sometimes these businesses are black owned also. Seems to me the whole point of rioting isn't even the cause at hand. Its an excuse just to destroy property and act like a mental case, using the cause as the excuse for the unrest.

They have to spread fear to help conquer the country. The cause is not the real reason.
That cops should be able to kill citizens on sight seems a strange argument.
That reminds me of a quote from a Robert A. Heinlein novel.
“An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.”
Now, you can point out that entire ghetto neighborhoods are armed, but are anything but polite. True, but when only the criminals are armed, you don’t have an “armed society”. Amen armed society is when the criminals know all of their potential victims are also armed, and their risk of death or severe injury is exceptionally high, Disarming law-abiding victims as in NYC and Chicago, does not constitute an “Armed society”, even as the criminal element is armed to the teeth.
What a world we live in, where resisting arrest over an active warrant results in a 7 figure windfall. Mind you this man, just like George Floyd, committed armed robbery on a female.
