Brooklyn Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 11,2021. - Daunte Wright, 20, was shot by a Brooklyn Center police officer on April 11, 2021, during a routine traffic stop where a police officer is on trial and charged with murdering George Floyd last year. Officers pulled over a driver for a traffic violation and determined that the driver had an outstanding warrant, the Brooklyn Center Police Department said in a statement. Officers tried to arrest the driver but he "re-entered the vehicle," the police said."One officer discharged their firearm, striking the driver," the statement said. "The vehicle then traveled several blocks before striking another vehicle."
Ill wait for the body and dash cams before I decide for sure, but based upon police testimony it was a reasonable shoot. Sometimes it sucks to be a criminal.

“If you can’t do the time don’t do the crime” is obviously something the poor entitled criminals were never taught.
I am just sick and tired of black men being shot up by the police. Something needs to change between the communities and the officers so we don't have to witness this anymore. Also I support peaceful protests, but rioting is never okay and those who do need to face consequences.

Stop doing crimes and if they can’t help themselves, they need to simply quit resisting arrest. Folks always mention police reform but never criminal reform. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.

1. Stop fighting the police and cooperate. We have a legal system, let the lawyers figure it out.
2. Always have an outside source investigate any officer related shooting. I would say the FBI, but of late they are like the Keystone Cops.
The police tries to arrest you, it should be obvious that fighting with them regardless of your race will not end well. I certainly saw enough of my white fellow servicemen get thumped and thumped hard by cops rousting us because we were military. Comply Comply Comply. Let the lawyers work it out. Fighting or resisting arrest will only make matters worse, never better.
Finally. Tired of black men being shot by cops, the absolute vast majority of which are good shoots? Then talk to the black men and get them to use their brains and stop giving the cops an excuse.
My son is black. I taught him to swallow his pride, comply, comply, comply. We will let the lawyers settle it. Now where he lives is redneckville and there aren't many blacks. The local cops are 1 step above mall security guards. He isnt being shot at or hassled. It helps that he isnt a convicted criminal, wanted for any crimes, involved with gangs or acting like an idiot.
Uh oh, does this mean Minneapolis is going to burn again in the name of "racial justice?"
