And lest we forget, the reason for the original post is because the people that associate with the party that claims Florida is so backwards and horrible, are the ones that are flocking to Florida.

It’s not the preferred outcome. The preferred outcome is not to have the dregs of society come and turn Florida into the cesspool that the dregs turned their previous state/cities into.
Fortunately, Florida’s too scary for many libs to even cross into it.
It's a purple state. The last governor race, with two admittedly subpar candidates, was so close that it took days for them to figure out. There are big swaths of redneckville in the middle, but the places where the other half of the people live is like southern New York and bright blue.
