MSNBC host Joy Reid said Thursday on her show “The ReidOut” that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was the “modern-day” version of segregationist Gov. George Wallace (D-AL) for signing the state’s new anti-rioting law.
He isnt perfect, but clearly he'll have to be taken down for disregarding the national line on onerous covid restrictions. Freedom and personal choice are vices in a collective society.
You can tell how much of a threat one of the most popular governors in the entire country is to the left and their media. They are in full attack mode to take him down.
Meanwhile, people are flocking to his state like never before and leaving failed Democrat states behind.
That's exactly right. The left is terrified of DeSantis, primarily because of his state's success despite not locking everything down. Covid will still be a major part of the 2024 campaign. Since they can't get him on Covid, they will try to smear him otherwise.
And that anti-riot bill should be adopted nationally.

I need not live in Florida to be able to comment on a specific piece of legislation. From where I stand, there is nothing wrong with this law. You disagree. That's fine.
