What are the democrats hiding? I thought they were for transparency
Transparency? Look at the first 100 days and how they refuse to let the public know what is going on. Many didn't like Trump but at least we knew what was going on!
The voting saga continues, they are only counting the presidential and senate races which the republicans lost. OAN is doing the fund raising, imagine if MSNBC raised funds for a recount by a left wing group in a losing democratic district.
You have to laugh at this. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t if you’re Dems here. Why don’t you just sit back and let the audit happen and maybe somehow the issues are missed or covered up. Why would you immediately make yourself appear guilty by trying to stop it
The democrats asked the judge for a pause over the weekend but they relented when he asked them to post a $1M bond. The vote is proceeding right now regardless but there are many legitimate questions on the process and security.
It's already happened I believe. When Busch won Florida the NYT paid out of their pocket for an in-depth recount. This is no different.
What are democrats afraid of? It's okay for you to do a recount but not the other side? I thought you were the party of fairness?
It wasn't a recount it was an investigation of the validity of around 200,000 ballots that may have been compromised. It was done in November right after the election and was funded by the Associated Press, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, St. Petersburg Times, The Palm Beach Post and Tribune Publishing, Los Angeles Times, South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Orlando Sentinel and Chicago Tribune.
This is a recount in the one county where republicans lost and it is April.
The CEO of Cyber Monkey is a partisan hack and has tweeted many conspiracy theories about the election, his company is doing the audit. OAN is find raising for the recount which will cost millions. No idea who is watching over the ballots for security.

I haven't told you enough already, did you read my prior posts. Cyber Ninja has a partisan CEO who has indicated the election was stolen and is also a fervent Trump supporter, his company has no election experience, there is no security and the people doing the counting are mostly republican picked at random. The only news network allowed inside is OAN, all the other networks are only allowed in the parking lot.
By not hiring an independent company they have already lost any credibility no matter the outcome but this is dangerous riling up the far right nuts that are responsible for death threats.

They failed to adequately supervise and guard the ballots has been alleged.
They have no experience in this.
They refuse to disclose their plans on how to conduct this, claiming its a trade secret. (as per their legal filing)
Theyve already failed to follow the guidelines by the state on how to do this. (black and blue pens).
Basically...theyre so biased to begin with, that their secrecy about how they will do it is simply insane.

The entire point of a forensic audit is to systematically inspect the documents in question, then present the entire findings to the public, including the methodology used during the audit. If Cyber Ninjas' plans on conducting the the audit are a "trade secret" and if they find anything, how are they going to prove they found something if they don't reveal their "trade secret"?
Look, if the Republicans in the Arizona Senate want to pursue this course of action, I'm OK with that. Let the voters in Arizona weigh in with their opinions in the next election cycle.
But it's looking like if any fraud is found, and if Cyber Ninjas refuse to reveal how they found it, then that means that the best the Republican Arizona Senators can hope for from this exercise is a series of unsupported statements, and unsubstantiated possible criminal accusations against the Maricopa County election officials without providing the evidence for cross-examination and rebuttal.

If they claimed fraud after the recount there would be no reason to believe it was credible, waste of money but I think the reason for this was to stir the base. This was over before it started with their lack of independence, waste of taxpayer funds.
The Demos would like to sweep the rules away to have and get what they want ~ the last election showed that clearly ~ ballots were sent out to any name they could find alive or dead and every ballot was accepted without any verification, that and not permitting watchdogs to watch the counting allowed for a nullification of the American peoples right to vote, vote all you want and we'll count and tell you who has won and that will be they who don't like the American system or the Americans people ```
