The slackers you refer to at low skill jobs are 100% on the dole now, and providing SNAP benes to them while they earn a paycheck is far more cost effective than the Biden "sit on your butt, bums" present plan.

They have "Every Day Low Skill Sets". Those with McSkills make McWages at McJobs.

It is not right to refer to them as slackers and bums. Not everyone can be a doctor a lawyer. Are there lazy people? Of course. But to generalize low wage workers is unkind.

Nearly half of Americans work in low-wage jobs. Yes, some can make a better life for themselves, but not everyone can.

Nobody is suggesting everyone can be doctors or lawyers. There’s plenty of options for higher wages.

You know what is even more cost effective? If those billionaires pay their employees a decent wage with benefits so that we tax payers don't have to.

Those staying on UI unnecessarily, after being offered new chances to work, are bums. Those who whine about wage rates they agreed upon, when hired, rather than advance their skills, are slackers.

Those who work as scheduled as agreed upon, never choosing couch surfing over work, never whining about a rate they agreed upon, are not slackers.

The reality is the bulk of US jobs are neither doctors, lawyers, nor unskilled, but in the middle of the intelligence required spectrum.

You are hilarious. It is time middle age, prime of life folks, get past no skill, entry level jobs. Those jobs fit the 16 year olds well.

PS: Every year, Wal Mart promotes 90,000 Americans, 75% of whom lack even a Bachelor's degree. That gets them past entry level wages. 675,000k promotions per decade, for non degreed staff, 900k overall.

Now I applaud the 25 states ending the extra $300/wk for couch surfing program. It should have ended IMO after q2 2020. We need to avoid ever offering it again.

The number one thing workers need to realize is all jobs pay the same..your replacement cost.

The prudent add skills, education, and training to increase their replacement cost, which is the only Free Market reason employees get raises without see job or hours reductions as occur with many minimum wage increases.

If your raise is due to adding the afore-mentioned to increase your true value to an employer, you have an annuity. A sustainable higher salary level.

Maybe we should create more jobs that are beyond entry level. The fact is most jobs we see produced today are in fact entry level and often are looked for with 2-4 years worth of experience AND a degree.

Maybe more jobs beyond entry level should be available in the US rather than being sent overseas…and for those that want more pay for jobs available in the US, there’s plenty of them, if folks choose to better themselves versus complaining they don’t make enough money…because entitlement

The buffet where I eat at raised their prices twice in the last 3 weeks...from $10.25 to $10.95 to $11.65.... at this rate unless employers give 10-15% yearly raises expect more restaurants to go under...I can cook at home and buy only on sale rather than just accept the currency debasement of the politicians and bankers.
