It's something that started making the rounds just in the last year or two. Never mind that racial slurs and other such offenses by whites (including white cops) against blacks, have been diminishing for the last decade or two. If the media and other Democrats start saying it's getting worse, then it must be getting worse.
The media is gaslighting the public. The things they say about white people and the white American experience do not reflect present times. If I didn't know any better, I would say they are trying make Americans racist again. Certainly people are racist, but not as many as there used to be.
No, and I think it needs as much pushback as it can get. This constant drumbeat about how today's white people are racist to the core is a propaganda technique designed to dehumanize white people. Reason being, it's easier to hate someone who is regarded as less than fully human. Why it is that white people as a group are being targeted for hatred, I don't know. I also don't know why so many white people join in and debase themselves, yet they do.

Definitely, the media make a big contribution to this.
