And snowflakes get upset, he's entitled to his opinions and viewpoints. And it's not like he's against the vaccine in general, he elaborated more.

I'm sure 21-year olds can decide for themselves if they want to get vaccinated or not.

When it comes to healthy, younger people, Joe Rogan says getting a COVID-19 vaccine isn’t even worth a shot — despite advice from the CDC and medical experts saying otherwise.

Rogan made the claim on the April 23 edition of his highly popular Spotify podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” according to Media Matters.

“If you’re, like, 21 years old, and you say to me, ‘Should I get vaccinated?’ I’ll go ‘No,’ ” says Rogan in the episode.

In the clip, Rogan says that the “vulnerable” should get the vaccine — and that he’s encouraged others to get it as well.

“People say, ‘Do you think it’s safe to get vaccinated?’ ” he adds. “I’ve said, ‘Yeah I think for the most part it’s safe to get vaccinated.’ I do. I do.”

However, when discussing the young and healthy — specifically those around that early 20s age range — he later adds, “Look, don’t do anything stupid, but you should take care of yourself. You should — if you’re a healthy person, and you’re exercising all the time, and you’re young, and you’re eating well, like, I don’t think you need to worry about this.”

Yet, why take the risk?

Three weeks ago, the daughter of a cousin, being about 30 years old and in good health, was hospitalized with COVID. Very serious bout indeed, including pneumonia. Released a week ago. Today, she asked to borrow my mother's wheelchair, since she is still so fatigued. We hope, of course, that she will fully recover her vigor. I also hope she decides to get the vaccine (I think she was told to wait six weeks until after she is recovered).

Yet, she may be one of those unfortunates that will have prolonged health problems due to the 'novel' coronavirus.

By the by, is this the Joe Rogan whom hosted Fear Factor? I think he does comedy too?

It's reckless but Rogan can say what he wants. One of the first people to get Remdesivir in NJ was a 20 year old who was on a vent for weeks. He eventually survived but only after a long hospital course.

He's right.

Young, healthy people should hold off, especially if they're considering starting a family. They don't know yet how the vaccine affects fertility, and women are already reporting menstrual issues after receiving the vaccine.

What is the controversy here? The science and stats are on his side.

Yes, he is an enormously wealthy and successful podcast host and MMA commentator too. Spotify were good enough to pay $100million for his podcast.

But that's just 1 data point. Young and healthy are not at risk. Granted so many are overweight they are not healthy. That's the elephant in the room.

This is literally why we need as many people to vaccinate as possible. But the anti-maskers/anti-vsax crowd already complaining about the current state of things don’t realize that they’re working against their own interests of getting back to normal as soon as possible.

I used to like Joe Rogan til’ last year. I don’t mind that he has conspiracy nuts, but he doesn’t rven challenge them.
lol He does it all the time. You haven't watched his show much, yet still comment?
